Bio
Jimmy O’Connor is a Sound Designer born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. He has a major in Production and Design with a concentration in Sound design. Jimmy has designed sound for many productions at Pace University, including Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, To Clothe the Naked, Blue Ridge, and A Midsummer Night’s Dream. He has also designed for Wombat Theatre Company’s production of The Thanksgiving Play, as well as Planet Connection’s Dark Planet Theater Festival. Jimmy also has experience installing audio systems for workshops and working as a general audio technician. Jimmy’s favorite part of sound design is the opportunity to give the story a new layer of depth and finding ways to give character to sound effects and scene transitions.
